Hello, my name is Craig Shepherd, I have been around boats for around 50 years, since a baby in a cot really.

I have worked in the marine trade for over 35 years, starting in the hire boat industry, then moving to a large inland marina on spare parts and after sales, then moving into boat sales for the next 20 years, Now running my own company for the last 15 years which is to do with boat sales and boat selling preparation.

Most of my time has been on the non tidal Thames and dealing with power boats from the 1970s to the 2000s, this is where my core knowledge is.
Originally trained as a marine engineer I hold city & guilds in Marine Craft Fitting along with inland helmsman certificate, Power Boat Level 2 and Dayskipper theory.

We are new to the Isle Of Wight and I would be pleased to carry on with my work on boats where I have a wealth of knowledge & enthusiasm.

I also enjoy boat preparation, having spent many years one side of the desk I know the sort of things customers pick up on, a little time & money spent preparing your boat for sale can help add value but just as important help secure a sale in what is currently a slow market.
