MISS 1150 LE PITCH
This 11.50-metre house boat is a Miss 1150, built in 1987 by the Esquerré yard. Her flat-bottomed GRP hull needs only 80 centimetres of water: she goes anywhere on the inland waterway network, including where keeled boats have to turn back. The Miss 1150 belongs to the line of "Miss bourguignonnes", the house boats from the Esquerré yard — later Navig-France — that shaped French inland cruising in the 1980s, and whose design was carried on afterwards under the name Espade 11.50. The production version came with 28 horsepower; this one was given twice that, ... read more

Few were ever built. She had one German owner, then the present ones, who turned her into a home by roofing over the aft deck.
